  This place was a nice surprise. We were recommended to go here and glad we did for sure. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. Our sever knew her stuff and was very helpful in the selection process. Very nice experience, we will be back again.

  We were told by a waitress that this restaurant is under new ownership. It is newly renovated, and has a new menu. My wife and I have been driving out from Calgary to go to this restaurant specifically for the last 6 years. It has been our favourite. Unfortunately, we do not feel the changes are for the better. The food which has been 'fantastic' can only be described as good now. I always order the Pork Jager but was extremely disappointed with the new plating and potions. Service was very poor this time but as one waitress explained (not ours), the kitchen was short staffed due to a family emergency. Ok, I get that but you've got to have a back-up plan. We and others waited over an hour for our main course. We sincerely hope the new owner gets things sorted out and ensures this amazing restaurant stays so.

  Something changed....on a one side outstanding service and atmosphere and food - good taste but 2 1/2 year ago - taste was awsom!!!! - so - new chef??? (really - some products lack of heart [spices, final touch? - sometime tasting bland....])

  Our favourite German restaurant on Bragg Creek. Worth the drive from Calgary too! Have the Rouladen its excellent and very authentic. The selection of quality beers is excellent as well. Lots of parking and a big deck out front for the summer months.

  Made reservations for a Wednesday evening at 6:30.. place was full.. now I know why. Great Food, Excellent Service, all around Fantastic Experience.. we will be back.. We didn't know what time it closed till we actually looked around and saw we were the last table in the place.. Sorry about that.. :)
